Q. Do I have to be in business to become a member?

A. Our introductory membership package has been designed with ambitious women in mind whether in  business or thinking about starting one. You do not need to have a business to become a member.

Q. What is the minimum age for becoming a member?

A. The minimum joining age is 21 years. 

Q. How much does it cost to become a member?

A. We currently provide an introductory membership package at 350 Euros for the year which will include a specialised workshop from a choice of three, as well as a selection of members-only events, access to an online forum, welcome gift and discounted networking event tickets.

Q. Upon becoming a member are there any additional costs?

A. The member’s package includes welcome drinks and small eats at our workshops, evening socials and power circles. Coffees, teas and a set menu for the business breakfast is also included in the total package price. Any extra food and drink can be purchased on-site at our selected events venues.

Q. Can I bring a guest(s) to events, workshops or social gatherings?

A. All workshops and events within the package are strictly for members.

Q. Can men apply for membership?

A. SHE Malta is a women’s only member’s club and therefore men can not apply.

Q. How can I book a workshop or an event?

A.Once you become a member, you can select your preferred workshop, dates and times from our online schedule.

Q. How can I check the availability of a member’s-only workshop or event?

A. All workshops and events in the introductory member’s package will be visible to view in our online schedule. You will be able to see whether or not a workshop or event has been filled. Bookings are on a first-come-first-serve basis. 

Q. Can I change workshops and/or dates and times for scheduled events after booking?

A. Should you wish to swap to another workshop or change dates we would need you to email us no later than one week before the event. Depending on the availability of a workshop or event, we can not guarantee we would be able to accommodate any changes.

Q. What do I do if the workshop I choose is fully booked?

A. When one workshop has been filled you can choose another available workshop.

Q. Do members have to pay for SHE Networking events?

A. As of 2020 we will be organising an annual Networking event which must be paid for separately. This is a public event and therefore is not included in our introductory membership package. Members however, will be able to purchase a ticket at a special discounted rate.

Q. How do I renew my membership?

A. The introductory membership package will run out exactly a year from the date purchased. You may then view our list of membership options for 2021 and make your selection depending on the package which suits you best. 

Q. How do I cancel my membership?

A. Membership purchases are non-refundable however the directors agree to review your situation following a written letter stating your reasoning. You should direct your enquiries to info@shemalta.com

Q. Do I have to pay a joining fee?

A. Admin costs have been included in the total cost of the package, therefore we do not ask for a joining fee.

Q. Can I bring children?

A. Generally we do not allow for children to be present, however working mums are welcome to bring along their new born babies and we will try our best to accommodate for this.

Q. Can I bring animals?

A. We do not allow animals at any of our workshop sessions due in part to venue restrictions and respect for other community members. 

Q. Do you have a specific site address?

Q. Where are the events, workshops and social gatherings held?

A. All of the above are hosted at set venues around the island. Details are listed in the member’s section on our website.
