Lessons I’ve Learned

We’re so excited to bring back one of our most-loved SHE events: “Lessons I’ve Learned”, part of our Real Talk Series. On Wednesday 30th September at 9am, we’ll gather at Shireburn Academy at Syparks Business Centre for an uplifting morning of storytelling, reflection and real conversation – the kind that reminds us we’re all figuring it out as we go.

This edition features 3 incredible women from our community;

Alexandra Sciberras (Co-Founder & Chief Medical Innovation Officer at Invent 3D) will speak about how some of the biggest opportunities in her entrepreneurial journey came from saying yes before having all the answers. From navigating innovation and uncertainty to making decisions without a perfect roadmap, she’ll explore why progress is built on curiosity, adaptability and the courage to figure things out along the way.

Donha Muscat (Founder at St Paul’s Childcare Centre) will share how letting go of the need to do everything herself transformed not only her business, but her leadership. Through lessons in delegation, trust, boundaries and difficult conversations, she’ll reflect on how building a business ultimately became a journey of building herself.

And Dr Perit Maria McKenna (Managing Director of DeValier Ventures Ltd, Restoration Consultant & Lawyer) will share a lesson in knowing when to push forward, when to let go, and where your energy can genuinely make a difference. Drawing on the unexpected turns, challenges and disappointments that have shaped her journey, she’ll explore how resilience, acceptance and staying anchored in your values can help you move forward with greater clarity and purpose.
